OVERVIEW
Lose yourself in a night of fairy tales with conductor Conner Gray Covington. Ravel’s Mother Goose unfolds like a storybook come to life, where Sleeping Beauty awakens, Beauty and the Beast share a tender moment, and a fairy garden shimmers with magic.
Stravinsky’s The Fairy’s Kiss, performed by violinist Kathryn Eberle, draws inspiration from Tchaikovsky, and blends romance and mystery in a musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Ice Queen. Mozart’s elegant Idomeneo captures the themes of ancient mythology in the aftermath of the Trojan War. From sweeping drama to sparkling whimsy, each piece invites you into a world where music tells the story—proving that sometimes, the best adventures begin with a single note.
